Kinder Picnic
and the kids could wear cowboy/girl attire.
Thanks grandma for having a hat we could borrow
Our school district doesn't do "Graduation" for the kindergarten kids but they let us gather in the school yard in the 101 degree weather to have a picnic. After we got all sweaty outside we went into the classroom and watched a slide show and got to take pictures with the teacher. It was brought to my attention that she is part of the 2021 graduating class. YUCK. Who wants to think about Ki graduating from High School? Not this old hen.

Happy Mother's Day!
I want to let all the women in my life who have helped raise me to be the mom I am today, Thank you, and I love you! You are my Mum, my sisters, my sister in-laws, my Grandmothers, my mother in-law, My aunts, Steve's aunts, my Y.W. leaders, primary teachers, my H.S. art teacher, my cousins, my college roommates, my dear friends, and of course my girls, Ki and El. Some of you never had the chance to birth your own, but you are some of the best mothers I know!
I do have to say my Dad has made me a better woman and my brothers have a lot to do with who I am today, and last but not least, My Steve.
I am grateful for the many people who have shown their love for me and who push me to be better.
Check It
Steve is so awesome! He has been working on this secret project all week and I knew it would be so cool b/c he is so creative, but I was shocked at how cool these wall flowers turned out. He is one crazy cat! I am loving my Mother's Day surprise.

Wordless Wednesdays
I am going to break the rules just to explain this great idea a stole from my cousin Michelle. She doesn't know I stole her idea so no one say anything! I am not sure if the picture has to be from today being Wednesday but I think it can be from this week or something like that, so I'll just say that's the rule and then you post the picture but can't say anything about it. Sounds cool right???

Remember How I Told You I Love Birthdays?
There is a reason I do love them so much. When I lived in the Boise area I worked with the coolest chick ever! Princess E. made me realize that a Birthday should not be celebrate in one single day, rather a string of days and if you are really loved, a month. My sweet Princess E. made my birthday extend into April. I got a package for my Birthday and she made me a lovely apron! Thank you Princess E. for making my Birthday special just one more time.
Sorry for the picture quality-Ki took it.
