Happy Father's Day
We were glad to hear that and I am so grateful to have such an awesome dad!!!
I am very thankful for the dad that Steve is. He lets the girls cook with him, wash cars with him, and they like to watch him play his PS3, or Golf on the Wii.
Ki said she was going to make and serve breakfast in bed for Steve-cereal with fresh strawberries. But then he was out of bed and had breakfast a few hours before she even got up. He is an early riser. She scolded him a bit and then gave him a big hug.
We are thankful for our awesome Fathers!

Me and My Crazy ideas
Ki first thing this morning-I tried to take pictures last night when it was styled and cute, but she wouldn't let me.
I got a crazy hair last night and my mother in-law was glad to accommodate. Both girls got their hair chopped! Ki had enough length (8 inches) to donate to Pantene Beautiful Lengths. She was excited to mail it today. I think that with my family history of cancer and with Pops' current cancer, we should support cancer victims. Ki's hair grows pretty quickly so I thought it would all work out well. I wanted them to have cute summer cuts. Both of them look darling if I do say so myself.

An Update
My pops had surgery today to remove cancer from his neck area. After a 4 hour surgery he is in recovery and the surgeon reported that it was a a success, they took out more cancer than they thought they would be removing, but thought it went very well. I am thankful for all who have said prayers on his behalf!!!
Happy 1/2 Birthday El
El is 3 and 1/2 Today
P.S. When you live in this Smith house you too can have a 1/2 Birthday. Steve's birthday is Christmas Day, so we made it a tradition to do 1/2 birthdays for everyone!

My Pops
21 years ago my Pops was lying in a hospital bed after having surgery and radiation to kill the cancer that was in his thyroid. Well, it's back and he is having surgery on Monday the 8th to remove the tumor. If you think about it, can you add John Stott to your prayers. Our family would really appreciate it!
